And did we mention that it is also very affordable? If you have never come across this particular model of the racquet or are unaware of its features and benefits then you are in for a surprise.

Today we are going to review the Head Ti. S6 so you can find out whether or not it is the right tennis racquet for you.

you will find the best tennis racquet here.

Head Size: 115 square inches

Beam: 28.5 mm

String Pattern: 16 x 19

Weight: 8.9 ounces

Length: 27. 75 inches

Material: Graphite and Titanium

Characteristics of the Head Ti.S6 Tennis Racquet:

Head Size

Measuring at 115 sq inches, this is one the largest heads on the tennis racquets. The large head provides more room for players to hit the ball. With a greater sweet-spot, you can rely on the racquet to help you improve on hitting the ball accurately and with more precision.

(If you are wondering what a sweet spot is then it is the area which you should try to make contact between the ball and strings for the best spin and power)

As a beginner, you may find yourself hitting the ball with the frame rather than with the strings. This can be handled better when you have more space to work with.

Not only does this tennis stick come with a larger head, it also measures longer than most traditional racquets. It has a length of 27.75 inches which is .75 inches more than average.

The extra length allows you to reach for and strike balls flying at a higher level.  It also helps to expand the area between your hand and racquet head, which basically results in full powered hits which gets the ball speeding over the net.

If this is going to be your first racquet and we certainly recommend it for beginners then you will enjoy playing with the extended length but if you have been playing for a while and have adapted to racquets with shorter lengths then have no worry because it will not require much from you to get used to playing with a longer model like this one.

String Pattern

With 16 mains and 19 crosses, the head synthetic gut offers quality and superb durability for prolonged use.

The strong yet lightweight strings produce amazing spin so you can play your favorite shots with ease and finesse.

With the full weight of just under 9 ounces, it is one of the best tennis racquets for long hours of action. Despite the light weight, the power generated is impressively high so you get the best of both.

The problem with heavy racquets is that they tire out the arm and put quite a bit of strain on the elbows and shoulder of players. This is frustrating for beginners, especially who may need to practice for longer hours but fail to do so due to sore arms.

The large build of the racket is probably the first thing you will notice about this racquet while holding it for the first time.

While the oversized head and extra length offer amazing benefits for the player we totally understand how intimidating it may be for someone who is new to the sport or has only used smaller racquets.

But you will forget any fear you had as soon as you hit the ball for the first time because the roomy head will not only increase the chances of you hitting the ball exactly on the sweet spot but will get the ball flying with full speed and impeccable power.

As a beginner, you will find yourself playing rather short strokes so you will be thankful for the design of the Head To S6 which actually favors this playing style and makes it easy to get the ball blasting over the net.

One thing for sure is that you will hardly miss hitting the ball with the large head which we think will be a confidence booster for new players.

What We Liked:

  • Light Frame
  • Large head (115 square inches)- best suited for beginners who are still learning to hit the ball with the sweet spot
  • Comfortable to hold- lightweight graphite and titanium construction reduces arm strain
  • Longer length – covers more target area and makes it possible to hit hard to reach balls
  • Synthetic strings are durable
  • Comes pre-strung- no need to waste time and money on tuning the racquet
  • SofTac Grip and ShockStop technology helps to dampen vibration and absorb shock upon contact
  • Great speed

What We Didn’t Like:

  • The racquet is more suited to beginners than advanced players
  • Maybe too powerful for some
  • Vibrations may be felt despite the effort from the technologies incorporated to tackle the problem

Final Verdict:

If you are a beginner or an intermediate player who needs a bit of help in hitting the ball more accurately every time or you just want to reduce the amount of missed shots- whichever you may want to put it- the Head Ti S6 will surely aid in improving your skills from the moment you start playing with it.

Sure it may seem as if the large head or extra length makes things easier but we see nothing wrong with that because it gives you the upper hand in a game and also assists you in working on your weak points.

With quality features such as synthetic strings and a combination of graphite and titanium in the construction of this racquet, you can expect amazing durability and lightness which make long hours of practice less painful and more effective.
